Best Paris menswear stores

After the selection of the best men’s fashion eshops (which you apparently really enjoyed), here is our guide to Paris men’s boutiques: I reference both multi-brand stores and boutiques of men’s fashion brands. I also try, where possible, to include mostly boutiques with an online shop if you’re not lucky enough to be able to visit them in person.

Writing methodology (updated March 2025): many boutiques have disappeared since COVID, I have just removed them.

You will therefore not find bespoke or made-to-measure establishments, which will be referenced in our guide to Paris men’s suits, unless they also sell ready-to-wear (like Maison Pen or Scavini).

Regarding well-known brand chains (APC, Balibaris etc.), I obviously haven’t listed all of them as this would harm the visibility of more niche (and more interesting) boutiques and multi-brand stores. I’ll let you visit their websites to check all their points of sale.
As you will have understood, this article remains a selection, which therefore does not claim to be exhaustive but still references 71 boutiques.

There are many boutiques, and it might seem daunting: if you feel overwhelmed, we also offer men’s makeovers, where we prepare a personalized personal shopping itinerary to buy coherent and stylish outfits with you, that you’ll enjoy wearing.

As of today (04/17/23), this is the most up-to-date guide available, taking into account the profound changes of these recent troubled years (Yellow Vests movement, strikes, COVID etc., you get the picture).

I Paris Men’s Boutiques – Right Bank

For this selection, I chose to distinguish between men’s fashion boutiques in Paris on the Left Bank and Paris on the Right Bank

MEN’S BOUTIQUES IN PARIS – CHATELET AND SENTIER

Hast

One of the first French DNVBs that specialized in affordable shirts with good value for money, before expanding its range with successful pleated trousers and outerwear. We appreciate the wide choice of materials (hemp, linen, flannel, etc.) for casual shirts and the large collar models.
47 rue d’Aboukir
Metro: Sentier
hast.fr

Nobis

If you’re reading this page, I hope you no longer buy your down jackets and parkas from Canada Goose and the like: you’ll get much more for your money at Nobis, which positions itself as the brand with the best value for money for luxury outerwear for extreme cold (with goose down).
2 rue des Petits Pères
Metro: Bourse
nobis.com

Octobre Editions

The men’s brand from Sézane: I recommend it mainly for casual shirts and knitwear, and possibly leather jackets.
12 rue Sainte-Fiacre
Metro: Bonne Nouvelle
octobre-editions.com/fr

Paire&Fils

The boutique is located on the Île de la Cité, so it’s neither Right Bank nor Left Bank, but this seemed like the most logical category.
It’s my favorite brand for more casual and designer-style shoes with Blake construction, made in Portugal (a very crowded market segment where competitors can be somewhat bland or have significant quality issues).
26 Place Dauphine
Metro: Châtelet/Cité
fr.paireetfils.com

MEN’S BOUTIQUES IN PARIS – REPUBLIQUE

Silbon

A bit like the Spanish SuitSupply, positioned even more accessibly with a wide range of sizes and especially suits with wide lapels without breaking the bank. Perfect for a first suit or an affordable sport coat.
14 rue de Marseille, Metro: République or Jacques Bonsergent
silbonshop.com

Centre Commercial

Naked&Famous, Wolverine, Howlin, Fidelity: quite a few niche brands between workwear and casual with good value for money. The diversity of brands offered makes it an ideal place to scout before the sales.
2 rue de Marseille, Metro: République or Jacques Bonsergent
www.centrecommercial.cc

Adresse Paris

Basics sold without intermediaries at good value for money, and especially a wide range of affordable techwear clothing aimed at fans of new soft mobility options (bike, scooter, etc.)
8 rue Beaurepaire
Metro: République
adresse.paris

The Next Door

A store that has become VERY streetwear-focused, highly popular among *sneakerheads* of all kinds. Presumably, if you’re reading this article, you’re not the target audience, but take a look anyway if you want to see some nice, characterful pieces. Also worth seeing for niche Japanese designers like Engineered Garments or Visvim.
10 rue Beaurepaire
Metro: République
thenextdoor.fr

Homecore

An ultra-casual wardrobe featuring its famous chinos with leather drawstrings. A streetwear staple.
9 rue de Marseille, Metro: République or Jacques Bonsergent
homecore.com/fr/

APC

No need to introduce this brand of basics whose quality hasn’t changed over the years: this boutique is interesting because it joins the other stores selling jeans in this area. If you don’t know your jeans brand, going to this area will allow you to identify both the perfect brand and size :-).5 rue de Marseille, Metro: République or Jacques Bonsergent
apc.fr

MEN’S BOUTIQUES IN PARIS – HAUT MARAIS

Simply put, the Haut Marais is the entire district located above Rue de Bretagne and Rue de Turenne. It’s a rapidly growing area with a huge number of quality boutiques.

Bakerdjian Dressing

A brand new player whose boutique opened in 2019 with a very nice Italian selection focused on sartorial/tailoring: beautiful knitwear, sport coats, and scarves.

28 rue Charlot, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Temple

The Rolling Shop

A nice selection of casual chic with made in France brands like Olow, and more accessible ones like Faguo or Bask In The Sun. A good multi-brand store for easy-to-wear mid-range items.

1 boulevard du Temple, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
www.therollingshop.com

Boutique BonneGueule

You’ll find a good part of the BonneGueule line here, offering excellent value for money, and a selection of handpicked brands.
You’ll also receive exemplary service and expert advice from the team.
14 rue Commines, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
shop.bonnegueule.fr

Basus

A collection of beautiful casual basics with an elaborate sizing system that accommodates more body types.
Perfect if you’re looking for casual pieces and have trouble finding your fit in ready-to-wear.
1 rue de Normandie, Metro: Filles du Calvaire
https://www.basus.fr/

Laperruque

Leather goods crafted in the boutique’s own basement using luxury leathers that will develop a magnificent patina (Baranil, Cordovan, etc.). In short, it’s hard to do better in terms of direct-from-workshop manufacturing in Paris.
12 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth
Metro: Temple
https://laperruque.co/

Cuisse de Grenouille

Good brand for chinos, oxford and chambray shirts, and finally knitwear.
19 rue Commines, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
www.cuissedegrenouille.com

Ami

A benchmark brand for casual chic: I particularly recommend their chinos and wool trousers, as well as jackets and overcoats.
109 boulevard Beaumarchais, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Bastille
amiparis.fr

Beaubien Store

Niche and quality brands that are hard to find elsewhere in Paris, such as orSlow, Howlin, Dana Lee, Coltesse, or Atelier de l’Armée.
21 Rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, Metro: République and Temple
beaubienstore.com/

The Broken Arm

A slightly more fashion-forward positioning with niche brands that favor deconstruction, like Etudes or Marni. A solid streetwear selection with Nike and Y3.
12 Rue Perrée, Metro: Temple or Arts et Métiers
the-broken-arm.com

Danyberd

An accessible formal wardrobe interesting for building a wardrobe: some pieces like pleated sartorial trousers are particularly well-priced, as are the fine wool knits from Zegna Baruffa.
15 rue des Filles du Calvaire
Metro: Filles du Calvaire
danyberd.com

Brut Clothing

One of the Parisian references for vintage workwear and military clothing: work jackets, military jackets, fatigue pants. The house is also starting to develop its own line.
3 rue Réaumur
Metro: Temple/Arts et Métiers
brut-clothing.com

MEN’S BOUTIQUES IN PARIS – MARAIS

As opposed to the Haut Marais, the Marais is below Rue de Bretagne and Rue de Turenne (but you might have already guessed that yourself #sherlockholmes).

French Trotters

An extremely high-quality own brand and a prime location for all Scandinavian brands (Acne, Filippa K, etc.). You can also find exclusive Alden models here. However, a large part of the selection caters to substantial budgets.
128 rue Vieille du Temple, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
frenchtrotters.fr

Royal Cheese

We mentioned it in the men’s fashion eshops selection: an excellent address for workwear. I recommend going there if you don’t know your size in Red Wing, Wolverine, Oak, or Yuketen: nowhere else in Paris stocks all these great boot brands simultaneously.
129 rue Vieille du Temple and 113 rue de Turennes,
Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
royalcheese.com

Elevation Store

Niche brands like Momotaro, Unity, or Arc’teryx sit alongside more accessible and casual ones like Six&Sept, National Standard, or Uniforms for the Dedicated. A good boutique to buy these well-known brands while discovering more advanced designers.
135 rue Vieille du Temple, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Oberkampf
elevationstore.fr

L’Habilleur

A clearance store offering quite a few small Italian brands, notably including Gorgio Brato leather goods. It’s an outlet: so unfortunately, you need to visit regularly to hope to find a gem that really suits you, as the selection is ultimately quite limited.
44 rue de Poitou, Metro: Filles du Calvaire or Saint-Paul
habilleur.fr

Axel Arigato

A Swedish brand with a Japanese name and quirky communication, offering well-priced sneakers made in Portugal, sometimes with surprising materials.
86 rue Vieille du Temple
Metro: Saint-Paul
axelarigato.com

Le Pantalon

The first boutique of the DNVB specializing in trousers, particularly chinos, with a wide choice of colors and materials at an accessible price. Less choice in dress trousers, however.
48 Rue du Roi de Sicile
Metro: Saint-Paul
lepantalon.fr

Rudy’s

An accessible shoe brand manufactured in Portugal with Blake and Goodyear welting: the brand has seen a very welcome revival in recent years with well-judged models.
4 Rue de Rivoli
Metro: Saint-Paul
rudys.paris

Archives 18-20

The multi-brand store by Séverine Layhani, founder of Ly Adams, with a very nice selection of niche brands: Damir Doma, Marni, Our Legacy. Good for a designer style.
20 rue des Archives
Metro: Hôtel de Ville
https://archive1820.com/fr/

MEN’S FASHION BOUTIQUES in the 9th and 10th Arrondissements

We leave the Marais and its extraordinary density of boutiques: an area with both more basic brands, but also stores for dressing for the office.

Pini Parma

Accessible Italian formal wear with fully canvassed suits around 700 euros and also more unstructured Neapolitan jackets. #sprezzatura
63 rue de la Boétie
Metro: Miromesnil

Septième Largeur

Probably one of the best value for money options in the mid-range market: a must-visit if you have a budget of over 250 euros for formal shoes.
59 Rue Saint-Lazare, Metro: Trinité d’Estiennes d’Orves
septiemelargeur.fr

V Barber and Shop

Mainly a casual register where you’ll find very good streetwear (Golden Bear), outerwear (Private White VC), quality accessories (Atelier de l’Armée). Only ultra-high-quality brands in an immaculate setting, and with a Barber in the other room. (we actually mention it in our selection of Paris barbers)

96 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, Metro: Poissonnière
https://www.vbarberandshop.com/

Howard’s

Excellent address run by an enthusiast, offering excellent value for money on shirts, ties, and more recently, suits (it’s in the 8th arrondissement, but I’m including it in this category anyway 🙂 )
75 rue d’Amsterdam, Metro: Liège
howards.fr

Cinabre

An excellent destination for ties and accessories with elaborate materials and especially finishes characteristic of the very high end, thanks to Made in France craftsmanship.
Also perfect for more original fabrics, including ties made from bandanas.
20 rue d’Hauteville 75010 Paris
http://cinabre-paris.com/

Bourrienne

Looking for the white shirt worn by all the dandies at the beginning of the 20th century? Bourrienne offers a high-quality, high-end interpretation with meticulous finishes (especially the plastrons), luxury manufacturing, and materials.
20 rue d’Hauteville 75010 Paris
http://bourrienne.com/

MEN’S FASHION BOUTIQUES FROM OPERA TO TUILERIES

SuitSupply

Is there even a need to introduce SuitSupply? It’s arguably the best value for money in accessible tailoring, with a wide range of suits, jackets, and trousers featuring good quality Chinese manufacturing and a broad choice of fabrics. The rather massive store also includes an MTM system and in-house alterations.
18-20 rue de la Paix
Metro: Opéra
suitsupply.com

12 rue Saint-Anne
Metro: Pyramides

Carmina

Easily one of the best value-for-money options on the market in terms of construction and materials. Huge value on the cordovan models.
4 avenue de l’Opéra, Metro: Palais Royal, Musée du Louvres

Bleu de Paname

The workwear brand that made ‘Made in France’ its signature: go there for chinos, jeans, and chambray shirts.
68 Rue Saint Honoré, Metro: Chatelet, Louvre Rivoli or Palais Royal
bleudepaname.com

Heschung

One of the symbolic brands of ‘Made in France’ craftsmanship, notably with Atelier Heschung, for a pair of indestructible boots.
8 Rue du Marché Saint-Honoré, Metro: Opéra
heschung.com

MEN’S BOUTIQUES IN PARIS – MADELEINE

Crockett&Jones

The benchmark for British Goodyear welted shoes: everything is made in Northampton, and we particularly appreciate the brand’s impressive range of lasts. You will also find bespoke shoes by the bootmaker Dimitri Gomez.

Maison Pen

Assan Pen started his tailoring career in Senegal before training at Cifonelli, Berluti, and Smalto: in this boutique, he performs high-end alterations, made-to-measure services, and offers a brand new ready-to-wear range of dress trousers, made in Portugal with fine tailoring details.
5 rue Pasquier

The Nines

The DNVB that revamps the formal wardrobe with excellent innovations: a very solid offering on shirts with a wide variety of collars and Sea Island fabric (the world’s finest cotton) at an unbeatable price. We also appreciate the richness of materials and patterns in accessories (pocket squares, ties, cufflinks, etc.)
8 rue de l’Arcade
Metro: Madeleine
thenines.fr

Maison Gabriel

Very nice selection of sartorial ready-to-wear with Italian manufacturing by De Petrillo, as well as a successful high-end casual wardrobe with knitwear and chambray/denim shirts. All with a clean style that I particularly like.

It also offers its ready-to-wear pieces in « Parisian measurement »: retouched ready-to-wear.
6 boulevard Malesherbes
Metro: Madeleine
berteil.com

Meermin

The emblematic brand for accessible Goodyear welted shoes, with Chinese production and a very affordable hand-welted range. Perfect if you prioritize value for money above all. The leather will, however, take a while to break in.
16 rue Chauveau Lagarde
Metro: Madeleine
eu.meermin.com

MEN’S FASHION BOUTIQUES CHAMPS ELYSEES (8th and 16th Arr.)

L’Officine

A very specialized ready-to-wear sartorial offering featuring Avino shirts, Fedeli, Rifugio leather jackets, Sartoria Tramarossa jeans, as well as a very nice selection of Neapolitan dress trousers.

71 avenue Marceau
Metro: Saint Philippe du Roule

136 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
Metro: Miromesnil
by-willman.com

Guibert Paris

For me, the best value for money, by far, for high-end leather goods: the brand was created and is run by a former equestrian who is uncompromising on finishes and who has managed to surround himself with the best workshops and tanneries to offer direct-to-consumer pieces.
22 Avenue Victor Hugo
Metro: Kléber
